Not wet weather but unusual for the season

The recent wet weather in Bali was an extraordinary event and does not mean that the start of the annual rainy season begins earlier. The sky is clear on the island after cloudy days with frequent showers, sometimes heavy, with the breeze from the southeast normally dry blowing across the eastern Indonesian archipelago at this time of the year. Forecasters believe that the rains are unusual in relation to the onset of El Nino climate pattern. The rainy season usually begins in Bali in December and lasts until the following March.
